On June 10, the House of ZK will host the Ethproofs Summit in Berlin - a community-led event dedicated to exploring the path to real-time proving on @ethereum.

The summit brings together contributors to the @ethereumfndn's @eth_proofs initiative and the broader zkVM ecosystem. The goal: unpack the technical, economic, and governance implications of proving Ethereum L1 blocks in real time, with topics ranging from recursion and co-processor orchestration to benchmarking standards and verifier upgradeability.

This conference will take a close look into what real-time proving demands today - in architecture, in hardware, and in protocol design. It’s about the changes coming to Ethereum if Ethproofs succeeds, and what zkVM teams, hardware designers, and protocol researchers must prepare for.

The day begins with a keynote introducing the Ethproofs platform: its vision, structure, and role in Ethereum’s long-term roadmap. From there, panels and keynotes dive into the hardest questions surrounding zkVMs and real-time proof generation:

• How close are we to 12-second zk proofs?
• What are the limits of parallelization, recursion, and prover orchestration?
• Should zkVMs standardize verification algorithms?
• What are the tradeoffs across ISAs, constraint systems, and memory architectures?
• Can we design fair benchmarking frameworks that align with onchain reality?
• What does upgradeability look like in a verifier-native world?
• Is it time to start planning for interoperable, liquid proof markets?

The Ethproofs Summit will take place at the House of Music, Berlin. The speaking program starts at 10:30 through to 18:00, with drinks and networking until 19:00.
