Here we report on the progress of the leading builders in the Cross-Chain ecosystem, documenting recent significant releases, technical breakthroughs and general updates
@union_build has gone live as a launch interop provider for the Babylon Genesis network, enabling secure asset transfers and message passing across Bitcoin Secured Networks: https://union.build/blog/launch-interop-provider-babylon-genesis…It connects @babylonlabs_io to @ethereum-based LSTs and acts as a key bridge for DeFi use cases. BABY tokens staked on Babylon can now be routed through @escher_fi to mint derivatives like eBABY or sBABY. Union also facilitates the Genesis Drop distribution to networks like @build_on_bob and @use_corn by abstracting settlement complexity.
The interoperability project also announced two new partnerships:
• With @Dextr_Exchange for cross-chain settlement within the new AVMM model, enabling seamless interchain trading without bridges or delays, ensuring native settlement, higher efficiency, and improved security: https://research.union.build/Union-x-Dextr-Actively-Validated-Market-Makers-1c979e5af45d804bb888ca2fc4e6aa3a…
• Together with @FlutonIO, Union are implementing the PRISM system for encrypted intent execution using Fully Homomorphic Encryption. Union facilitates cross-chain transmission of encrypted data, protecting users from MEV attacks and preserving transaction privacy: https://research.union.build/Union-x-Fluton-Encrypted-Intents-1c179e5af45d803fa2b4daf008e37c02
@PolyhedraZK published an article in which robots and AI, once sci-fi concepts, are shown to be rapidly integrating into daily life: https://blog.polyhedra.network/from-sci-fi-to-reality-how-robots-and-verifiable-ai-are-changing-our-world/… Powered by large language models and secured through verifiable AI and zkML, these machines now perform complex tasks autonomously. With falling hardware costs and blockchain-based infrastructures like EXPchain, robots can collaborate, transact, and govern themselves on-chain - marking a pivotal shift toward a robot-centric economy grounded in transparency and trust.
@sampearton, Chief Marketing Officer at Polyhedra, shared their opinion on how ZK technology can address growing mistrust in AI. With AI tools widely adopted yet largely unaccountable, ZK solutions like zkML offer cryptographic proof of model integrity, fairness, and compliance - without exposing proprietary data -helping restore transparency while maintaining privacy across sectors like finance and healthcare: https://crypto.news/ais-trust-problem-can-be-solved-using-zk-solutions/…
Finally, Polyhedra and @PropChainGlobal are teaming up to modernize the $11T real estate market. Propchain will use EXPchain’s zkML for secure digital ownership verification and explore ZKP of reserves for real-time collateral audits. Polyhedra’s zkBridge will ensure interoperability across networks, supporting tokenized assets and increasing transparency and efficiency across the ecosystem: https://x.com/PolyhedraZK/status/1907795265341583806
@Orbiter_Finance has launched its cross-chain swap feature, allowing users to exchange over 100 tokens across more than 50 blockchain networks: https://x.com/Orbiter_Finance/status/1907819962275869011…The service promises fast transaction speeds, low fees, and a streamlined user interface, consolidating bridging and swapping into a single platform.
The project also announced four new integrations, including:
• The @myBraavos wallet (@Starknet/@StarkWareLtd) is now integrated into Orbiter, enabling users to bridge assets like ETH, USDC, and USDT to Starknet directly via Braavos. As part of the integration, a 20% fee reduction has been applied for bridges to Starknet: https://x.com/Orbiter_Finance/status/1905167570338214052…
• Thanks to a aprtnership with @movementlabsxyz, the team behind the first MOVE-based chain that settles to @ethereum, Orbiter now supports bridging ETH to the Movement network, expanding cross-chain access to this emerging ecosystem: https://x.com/Orbiter_Finance/status/1907064641101897818…
• @NexusLabs have partnered with Orbiter enables bridging to the Nexus Testnet. This partnership also includes joint go-to-market initiatives and aims to accelerate innovation and ecosystem growth through deeper technical collaboration: https://x.com/Orbiter_Finance/status/1908021895175508161…
• Orbiter now supports bridging USDT to the @Celo network, advancing accessibility and liquidity for Celo’s user base: https://x.com/Orbiter_Finance/status/1909610786420556111
@EspressoSys has concluded its first 'Build & Brew' Hackathon: 486 participants submitted 156 projects, including 91 networks deployed using @arbitrum and integrated with Espresso confirmations: https://medium.com/@espressosys/crosschain-pioneers-announcing-winners-of-the-build-brew-hackathon-efba456ea3b1…
Developers competed for a $100K prize pool across two tracks - rollup deployment and crosschain application development. Winners included Affogato by @haardikkk, @randnetwork, and @DisburseN26431, showcasing fast and secure interoperability across L2s. The hackathon highlighted strong interest in solving @ethereum’s fragmentation through real-world use of Espresso’s infrastructure.
@Agglayer shared an article explaining the “pessimistic proof” - a cryptographic system for ensuring cross-chain security: https://x.com/Agglayer/status/1902775544988475837…
By treating all connected blockchains as untrustworthy, Agglayer verifies that no chain withdraws more than it deposits. This allows secure asset transfers across chains without relying on L1, prioritizing safety by preventing issues that may occur on a particular chain from affecting the rest of the network.
