ZK Hub, ETHDenver Wrap-Up
Share on

ZK Hub, hosted by House of ZK, was billed as the official ZK event of @EthereumDenver and the biggest ZK event of the year, and this two-day event delivered on its promise. Here’s a look back at the highlights and what made this event a standout moment for the ZK ecosystem.

A Packed Program with Industry Titans

The @Zk_Hub_Global speaking program (accessible at zk-hub.io) was a true masterclass in diversity and depth. Sessions spanned critical topics like ZK applications in Ethereum and Bitcoin, the convergence of ZK and AI, privacy solutions, zkVMs, proving services, hardware acceleration, proof verification, and deliberations on the future of ZK.

The event kicked off on February 28 with a lineup that included luminaries such as @vanishree_rao of @fermah_xyz, @evanashapiro of @MinaProtocol, @anthonykrose of @zksync, @1HowardWu of @AleoHQ, @bkase_ of @o1_labs, @jbaylina of @0xPolygon, and @Zac_Aztec of @aztecnetwork, among others, offering deep insights into Ethereum scaling, Privacy applications, and ZK’s relationship with Artificial Intelligence.

Day two kept the momentum going with discussions on the state of zkVMs, Proving Services, the future of ZK, and ZK in Bitcoin. Notable speakers included @portport255 of ZKsync, @yq_acc of @alt_layer, @alexeiZamyatin of @build_on_bob, Muthu Venkitasubramaniam of @ligero_inc, and @drouyang of @Snarkify_ZKP, tackling forward-looking questions about ZK’s evolution. The program’s structure allowed the audience to attend sessions aligned with their specific interests and engage with the topics most relevant to them.

With the success of the previous ZK Hub event during DevCon 2024, which drew over 500 attendees and over 50,000 livestream viewers, expectations were even greater for the ETHDenver edition - and it didn’t disappoint. With around 600 ZK enthusiasts visiting in-person, almost 100,000 watching the livestream, and nothing but positive feedback overall, it’s fair to say that ZK Hub, ETHDenver event was a giant success.

Beyond the Talks: A Community Experience

ZK Hub wasn’t just about the talks - it was an immersive experience offering a ‘Zen-like’ break away from the noise of the main ETHDenver event. Attendees enjoyed readily available food and beverage options, supremely comfortable lounge areas, in addition to pool tables and other games that encouraged relaxation and connection between sessions. Sponsor exhibition booths offered attendees the opportunity to meet their favourite teams, while exclusive merchandise, including the much-anticipated second edition of the House of ZK Magazine, was available in abundance for all.

Our sponsors - @MinaProtocol, @StarkWareLtd, @AleoHQ, @fermah_xyz, @GOATRollup, @0xPolygon, @aztecnetwork, @ProjectZKM, @RiscZero, @build_on_bob, @zksync, @Snarkify_ZKP, @VeridiseInc, @brevis_zk, @ligero_inc, @citrea_xyz, @Rarimo_protocol, @boundless_xyz, @malda_xyz, @nil_foundation, @AlpenLabs, @hashflow, @hyle_org, @thezkcloud, @ElectronZK, @crunchDAO, and @nillionnetwork - played an essential role, not only underwriting the event, but also doing a spectacular job of showcasing their latest contributions on the main stage.

Looking Ahead

With ZK Hub cemented as a flagship event in the Zero-Knowledge calendar, its momentum will continue with upcoming events planned at Hong Kong Web3 Festival, EthCC, SBC, and beyond. Our commitment to education also remains a priority - we are expanding our ‘From Zero to Knowledge’ series in partnership with Vanishree Rao, introducing an exciting new collaborator for the next wave of episodes. As blockchain, ZK, and AI converge, expect more varied content and new industry collaborations.

Look out for ZK Hub, ETHDenver recordings on X, and expect a follow-up article detailing our key takeaways from all of the event's talks. Stay up-to-date with future events at https://www.hozk.io/events.

Until next time,

Team House of ZK
